Properties: Lipolytic Lymphotonic Draining Diuretic It is an arboreal species belonging to the Pinaceae family, native to the Atlas Mountains of Algeria and Morocco. It is a medium to large tree, 30 to 35 m tall, with a trunk diameter of 1.5 to 2 m. It is very similar in all characteristics to the other varieties of cedar of Lebanon. It is evergreen and has a thick trunk in the lower part and the branches rather drooping, the crown is pyramidal in shape with the branches spread horizontally; the bark is grayish-brown in color with dense fissures. The deep green leaves are rigid and the cones have a flattened vertex shape of purplish color. The essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the wood - Indications: Lymphotonic, Diuretic, Draining, Lipolytic - Aromatic Family: Wood. - Combines with: Incense, Juniper, Vetiver, Australia Sandalwood - Precautions: Do not use during pregnancy and lactation, or in children under 6 years of age. Dermocaustic, always use diluted and in short periods of application.
