Swanson GreenFoods Formulas Ecklonia cava extract is produced from a type of brown algae grown off the coasts of Korea and Japan.
It features a unique form of polyphenols called chlorotannins that are chemically distinct from all soil and plant-based polyphenols.
Cava Ecklonia is the star of this class of algae-based antioxidants, and may offer greater antioxidant benefits than terrestrial sources such as green tea or resveratrol (potentially up to 2-3 times stronger).
