The Dulse Seaweed or Palmaria palmata, has a marine flavor due to its omega 3 and 6 content. The initial salty taste of the seaweed ends up turning into a delicious smoky / nutty flavor. A flavor that many have compared to that of bacon. The northern European waters where it is collected have many currents and are consequently very clean. For this reason they have been awarded the ecological certificate.
