Farfalle, with their particular shape reminiscent of an animal, are one of the favorite pasta shapes for children. Their original shape allows them to be soft on the outside and crispy on the inside. Its origin is very old, it seems that they were born in the 16th century between Lombardy and Emilia Romagna.
