Boost Plus Energy Gel is a quick-release gel high in caffeine, sodium and carbohydrates, designed for times when an energy boost is needed. It combines two types of carbohydrates: maltodextrin and fructose, in a 2:1 ratio between glucose and fructose. Glucose and fructose use different transporters to move from the intestine to the bloodstream. When glucose is consumed in quantities greater than 60 g/h, its transporter can become saturated, which will cause gastrointestinal disorders and, consequently, decreased performance. Thus, this combination allows for better use of energy, as has already been proven in several modalities. Instructions for use: Consume 1 gel per hour of resistance exercise, it is essential to drink at least 250 ml of water for each gel consumed.
