DR Healthcare DAOhead 60 Capsules

DAOhead® is a food for special medical purposes that is used for the dietary management of migraine caused by DAO Deficiency and / or Histamine Intolerance.

DAOhead® Diamine Oxidase (DAO) complements the body's own enzyme, which is responsible for metabolizing histamine. Taking a DAOhead® capsule before each meal increases the amount of DAO in the small intestine and therefore the ability to break down histamine. This accelerates the processing in the digestive tract of histamine present in food, which is the trigger for symptoms.

DAOhead Eficaps ® capsules contain gastro-resistant tablets with controlled release DAO in the intestine that avoid the acidic pH of the stomach and tablets that guarantee the immediate release of active adjuvant ingredients. Each capsule contains four tablets:

- 2 white / beige gastro-resistant tablets with DAO release in the intestine.
- 1 orange tablet of immediate release of vitamins of group B (B6, B9, B12).
- 1 red immediate-release caffeine * tablet.
(*) If you cannot take caffeine or B vitamins, you can open the capsule and remove the red and / or orange tablet, respectively.

How to use: Take 1 capsule with a little water 20 minutes before main meals (3 times a day). The capsule must be swallowed whole, if you cannot swallow the capsule whole, you can open it and swallow the tablets inside separately, having to swallow them whole without chewing, splitting or breaking.
