Basil Essential Oil has been valued for its properties such as: Analgesic-soothing, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, cephalic, antidepressant, antineuralgic, tissue firming, insect repellent, rubefacient, sudorific.
Precautions for use: Do not use undiluted (3 drops AE/5 drops of vegetable oil).
At high doses it can have narcotic effects. May irritate sensitive skin (dermocaustic).
